You have to spend at least $1,000 on a bat, glove and other baseball equipment at the T-Ball level or he will never make it to the show

By 6 he should catch a pop fly 90% of time and be able to throw a bullet from third to first

If not he has no chance at a good travel ball career and shouldnt waste his time

Just starting at 6? He's gonna be 2 years behind all the other kids in experience. Kiss that major league contract goodbye

Well, he's not retarded... so I think he'll understand what's happening. But, no he can't catch a baseball that well. We've been playing catch with his plastic glove. He's actually doing well throwing the ball when hes not focusing on planes, grass, crickets, leaves, dogs, the neighbor, the sun, the moon, Poors, and pokemon.

Make sure whatever it is he can open and close it with just his hand. Nokona or Joe Jackson gloves are the most broken in from the start.

A cheap glove that fits and is VERY well conditioned/broken in. Most important thing is the fit and whether he can “squeeze”.

Wal Mart sells baseball gloves for a 6 year old that won’t even know what hand it goes on.

I found a nice Rawlings leather glove at Goodwill for $2. It has some girl's name on it though.

Mizuno power close glove. $35ish 10.5” should last him a year or 2 depending on his size and skill set.

Starting way too late. You might want to get him involved with Soccer.
