Stallone could easily have been a professional bodybuilder, and he had significant training in boxing, anyone that thinks Richard Gere would’ve stood a chance is an idiot

Yeah, in 1994 Princess Diana was kinda a big deal in popular culture and overall society.
He probably liked the sound of "Sly & Di", already had tabloid marketing going on in his head.
Arnold probably mentioned politics to him,..TBH it may have been epic for him had she fell for him. He had kicked off the 90s with rocky 5 and stop or my mom will shoot. Aside from cliffhanger, he wasnt doing too much. Demolition man and judge dredd werent that great of films. Nostalgic fun..but he may have also been having some jealousy as Gere started off strong in the 90s with pretty woman.

She would've been an amazing notch on the belt but she wasn't really hot. She was hot for a pasty royal but dogshit compared to what those two could pull in the early 90s.

Stallone is a brick wall of brute strength and has a good bit of fighting training.
Yes, professional fighters who constantly train technique have hurt him, but he would have known a hell of a lot more of what he was doing than Gere in addition to the massive strength gap.

The other poster said Stallone was as small as a garden gnome. I made reference that I stood next to him and only mentioned my height compared to his in order to provide scale. Stallone was 5'9" but built like a rock...pretty much just like I said in the post.
