T-Mobile has the best network right now.
Seems like T-Mobile should become the leader in wireless after acquiring all the bands from Sprint.

I will never understand why people pay for the big companies when you can get on their network for 1/4 the cost with something like mint mobile/ visible or spectrum mobile I literally pay $30 a month for 2 phones with unlimited data on spectrum mobile and run off Verizon towers

Go to their website and make sure your stuff is compatible. You probably have to have your phone paid off. Pick a plan and they will send you what you need to switch then call AT&T and tell them to eat dirt ETA: their customer service is super easy to get ahold of too. You can call and ask whatever questions you have about switching and they would help answer if you don't know what to do
Awesome, thanks.. yeah my new phone is financed thru Apple (same $ amount as paying cash) and unlocked , so shouldnt be a problem .

Well they currently are. Its 5G network is years ahead of the other two because of 1) the spectrum they acquired from Sprint, and 2) ATT/VZN’s bad bet on basing their 5G networks on small cells/mmwave. VZN probably has the worst overall network tbh but as long as they keep charging high prices then people will keep assuming they’re getting something.

Depending on where you live you might be able to use one of those cheaper services and ride on the Verizon network.

I’m scared of the mixed reviews. People seem to either love it or hate it.

Why people continue to pay those hidden charges I'll never understand. Verizon will stick you every month and after the first three months your bill will just continue to balloon out of control. At one point I think I was paying over 160 bucks for one phone. This was like 2010 also. I e switched to cricket wireless and I pay 50 bucks a month for everything.

The only downside to this (especially if you live in concentrated metro areas or somewhere like South Louisiana or Gulf Coast) is you're the first group that gets deprioritized on the network. So if there's heavy traffic on the tower you're getting booted for the premium customers. It was especially bad during Ida in New Orleans.

If you're over 55 go with Tmobile. 2 lines plus WiFi $100/month. Best service & customer service I've ever had. Free & highly discounted phones.
If you're not 55, go with the others mentioned like Mint, Optimum, Spectrum, etc. I went with Tmobile over the others for the senior plan & phone selection. AT&T will never see another dime from me.

I bought an unlocked phone years ago and have done the same with upgrades.
Have been with Straight Talk, Mint Mobile and now Visible (a Verizon company.)
No issues with any of these companies. I pay $25/month for phone with no contract. Switched so I could decline voicemail setup.

Are you keeping your AT&T landline though?

This is what I on now. Love it...2 lines unlimited with 40gb hotspot and netflix.
To me I had the other 2 before.
ATT-- horrible Customer service.
Verizon -- to many dead zones.
I would likely go with a smaller/ cheaper then ever go back to those.

Been with cricket about 5 years. 3 lines unlimited everything with hotspot for $110 a month.

Switched to Consumer Cellular. $30 a month and it works off of AT&T towers. Been over year and I’m very happy with it.

True, and this makes sense, as higher generating revenue customers should be top priority. However, as a Visible user for the last 3 years, I believe the trade-off of paying $25.00 per month with unlimited everything, including a hotspot, and no contract, far outweighs the con of being deprioritized during heavy congestion, something which I have rarely noticed.
