That math is not mathing. And if most of the money went to Taylor Swift in the form of tickets, how does that help the city?

Yall can say whatever you want about her music and her personal life but there’s no denying that her 3 nights in Nola bringing in $500M is one of the biggest wins the state has seen in a long time.

Then if that weren’t enough she donates 75k meals to the food bank of South Louisiana.

Let’s not forget her help she gave after the 2016 floods in Br.

Again you can dislike her music or whatever but she deserves respect for what she’s done for Louisiana.

75K to her is like $1 to you.

'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off (hoo-hoo-hoo)

Heartbreakers gonna break, break, break, break, break
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off (hoo-hoo-hoo)

I never miss a beat
I'm lightnin' on my feet
And that's what they don't see, mm-mm
That's what they don't see, mm-mm

I wonder if the City will use that to make the tourist areas less of a shithole. (They won't)

I wonder how much was siphoned out of town by Swift, and the promoters?

I wonder how much went to out of town hotel and restaurant owners?

I wonder how much local business people made above and beyond an average October weekend? The same goes to local workers, entertainers.

I wonder how much the city and state took in above and beyond a normal weekend?

These are the key numbers.

The state can’t afford for New Orleans to fail, the city brings in way too much money. A strong New Orleans is good for LA.

Anyone that argues with this statement is crazy.

The question I have is why are local and state leaders allowing NO to fail? Katrina happened almost 20 years ago.

What is terrible as far as the Superdome surroundings? It's a appreciated because of its distance from the Quarter.
