The questions will then become "How much will fired officers win in a civil suit against the city?" and "Is EBRPSO ready for a hiring frenzy?

If we know SWB like we think we all do then we can expect the most highly qualified candidate in EBR parish to be named as the next police chief. In fact I think unfounded rumors on the street include:

Former Port Allen Police Chief Frederick Smith
Former Lockport Police Chief Warren Vedros Sr.
Former interim Maryville Police Chief James Fowler
Former Assistant Police Chief Greg Coleman of North Hodge
Former Esterwood Assistant Police Chief Wayne Welsh

She will probably have Gravey Chambers, Silky Slim, and other community activist on the committee and pay the mm for their work. She may have a token white liberal on the committee as well.

Shocked I tell you... shocked.

Making BR the laughing stock of the state. What did we do to deserve such levels of ineptitude? Have we had a dumber mayor before SWB?

What are the odds she is caught in a scandal big enough to force a resignation?

50%?

She's had several scandals so far and its been like 6 months.

Also, I know this has been answered, but can Kip run again after SWB's term ends?

Is it a consecutive term limit rule or lifetime term limit rule?

She already knows who it's gonna be. She knew before she asked for Dabadie to resign.

I think the interpretation is three consecutive terms so Kip would be free to run again. And would probably win in a walk.
