But it's ok when a group of (insert other LSU sports team, clubs, organizations here) haze, fight, rape, do illegal drugs, get drunk etc. How much shite has been ignored, downplayed, let pass or swept under the rug when involving others besides the Greeks?

Is LSU going to start getting involved in other things that students do off campus?
Seems like an over reach.
I understand them wanting to have control over things on campus but if you are off campus they should have no say...

There was a thread a few weeks back about a frat at a university in CA doing this. I think the U is limited on things they can do to prevent it but that won’t stop them from trying.

There are some rich greeks, just like there are some rich non greeks. Most are from very average middle class backgrounds.
During my time in the Greek system, the Tri Delt president (top tier sorority for those not in the know) was the daughter of a guy who drove a coca cola delivery truck. Super smart, driven to succeed, beautiful, but she was not high society.

The universities do not want to get involved. Its the threat of lawsuits that compells them into action. We need a new state law limiting university's liability that would deter this sort of money grab
