There is a movie titles 'The Mule' that is written exactly like this.
Crazy storyline. The guy ends up shutting out the balloons while the the security sleeps in the same room. He then proceeds to reswallow the balloons and restart the process. Think he had to make it 14 days or something.

Seems easy to get rid of evidence unless they are really watching him.
At least British police are nice about it. A teenage kid in the neighborhood years ago got pulled over and swallowed a pill. The police choked and beat him so bad that every blood vessel in his eyes burst and his eyes were red for weeks.
