How is it possible that these surfers and swimmers in Australia do not learn? Its like going for a hike in Alaska and knowing there are grizzly bears all over the place. It must be awful when he realizes there's a massive shark and I'm about to be his lunch. Don't get in the water!

I've said for years that if a shark gets me in the pool, it's my time to go.

They should write that shark up for hunting on a baited field!

I would not watch that. I made the mistake of watching the Egyptian shark attack video a couple of years ago and could not get it out of my mind for days.

Not really. What's the labor participation rate?

it's nearly impossible to survive a predatory attack by a great white. He was probably bitten in half and then consumed. Horrible way to go! Perth is also one of the last places I would get in the ocean.

The tiger shark that killed that guy in Egypt a few years ago was brutal. Just rag dolled him

I made the mistake of watching that video. I’m not watching this one.

We met at least 10 that were on 3-4 month vacations traveling around. It was nuts I don’t get it. They also thought Americans getting a week or two off was bonkers.

One of the glaring differences is Americans get paid more for the same job.

Stated another way, those vacation days are paid by using a shell game of lower wages. The dummies just don’t focus on wages , their 3-4 months of slackassery is the “gift” they receive from their government that they keep voting for.

When you compare it to what other western countries give their people...yeah, it's a huge and glaring disparity.

How are those economies doing?

It is slightly higher in Australia, but their labor participation rate includes 15 year olds and they need to employ more people to keep operations going during the subsidized slackassery days of paid vacation.

i guess yall didn't see the one of the guy in Australia that was eaten while training for a triathalon, bitten in half and then it came back and took the rest. It didn't show the initial attack but video showed fishermen from the rocks yell out that witnessed it and the video quickly pans over to the scene and he was pretty much dead then shark returned and all that was left was taken by sea gulls.

it captured eyewitness reactions. The tiger shark one was so far away but you could here the victim and it lasted longer.
