It’s funny how in this state the baws make fun of damn near every Tex mex place as being horrible.

Right, as if there is one Tex mex place that blows the rest away

Obviously some are really shitty, but most are very similar

The people who shite on places like Superior are usually neckbearded dorks who ramble about authenticity of tacos

Superior is some of the best I’ve had including big city, fancy mexican.

Plus, you take a date there and give her one or two of those margaritas? Come on baws

Screw Superior Grill. You need to take out a loan before going to that place. Supply and demand. They win. But they will never get my business. Fool me once...... Waaaaaaay over priced. I don't get it.

Exactly. Living in tejas for the last few years I’ve had it all, and a lot of it. Superior holds its own

Authentic tacos are kind of shitty IMO BTW FWIW

The difference between something like Torchy’s and an “authentic” food truck serving tacos is minimal at best

Went to superior on highland for first time since moving back to BR from Shreveport. Me and fiancée had $50 in gift certificates from Superior. But... apparently they can only be used at Shreveport location. Manager didn’t accept it. This caveat was not written or apparent in anyway and the manager didn’t even attempt to make it right. Also, the certificates literally have Highland listed on it along with the other locations.

Those fricks literally printed useless money.

Can’t cook. Can’t make a drink ————-Go to Superior.

We ate 10 times better, drank better toddies and had more fun without leaving the hood. Been doing this since ‘02. Get real friends who are happy with their lives and have a decent cooking skill.

Send your fiancée over to have a word with the manager, and threaten to call Corporate.

Knew the managers in New Orleans years ago. There was a time for several years when they were getting all their Milagros Tequila for free and then highly discounted bc they had some deal worked out with the rep. So if you want to know how much they were making during Mardi Gras they were upcharging and not paying for the tequila they were selling in the Margaritas. They were basically at around 2-3% product cost for their margaritas that were not top shelf.

I get going there today, but I'll never understand the amazing fascination white people have for this overpriced place. Food is ok and expensive, drinks are expensive but at least decent, atmosphere is decent if you liked crowded areas.
