If the racism didn't happen in the work place, that's an awfully dangerous precedent to set. This woman is scum, there is no question. But getting fired for personal stuff that happens at home is a bit much for me. Was she arrested for a crime? I could maybe see it then. But otherwise, I'm not a fan of that becoming the norm

Agree in part. But keeping her on the payroll could expose the employer to liability if a discrimination claim happens in the future.
She would need to be in a position that doesn't deal with the public.

Where did I say she wasn’t wrong? My issue is firing people for things they say/do at home. There is no back story on why this happened. Most of the videos like this are a 2 minute clip of someone doing something they shouldn’t have with no explanation as to how it escalated.
Now this lady lost her job and it will be difficult for her to find work again, when again if the roles were reversed there would be nothing to see
