I took my telescope out and I can see so much. I cannot get a good photo with these 20 mph winds though

Yeah. To get pics when it’s red you need a telescope setup with a camera attached. A long lens just can’t pull in enough light when it’s dimmer.

Great pics fellas. I’ll try to steal some professional ones and post in a bit. I was able to snap some rather blurry ones through my telescope with my phone but not worth posting tbh.

Lens works great in day time or with the brightness of a full moon.
You have to have a really fast lens once you get close to the full eclipse. I am out of town and stuck with a point and shoot that wasn't up to the task either. The only way I could get any real red was with a shutter speed so slow the moon was moving so much I got a ton of blur.
