Subway was “good” 20 years ago when they had little to no competition outside of local delis and they were getting in decent meat/cheese product.
With the rise of Jersey Mikes, Jimmy Johns, etc. they went to shite quick.

Franchises? Cause I just watched a Food network show about Subway and its miscalculation on growth- they overpopulated- and the show
Claimed they were shutting down stores everywhere. I’m curious if this is related or the quality is so bad they’re going out of business?

Being woke has hurt them more because the food has been shite before. It is just another excuse not to eat at places like that.

First woke ad and I was out. Stopped using them for the platters I bring to accounts. I now use Firehouse subs. If they get woke, I’ll leave them to. I only spend money with conservative patriots.

It's kinda garbage but it's not expensive for sandwich chains. Combos the same size from Jimmy John's and Firehouse Subs are over $10.
