And they are requiring that franchises remain open even during hours where no one goes to a Subway.

The rest of your post is true, but people go to Subway at all hours. You have to look no further than Jussie Smollett going at 2am in single digit weather to get that sweet, sweet tuna melt.

BAck in the day, My go to subway sandwich was tuna loaded with bbq sauce. Also, liked a Wendy’s single with the hot chill sauce but it’s been awhile

The fact they let the Cali QA guy run wild is insane. Subway is the only place where QA can write you up, then force you to sell and then purchase your location.

Didn't they have like 62 million locations at one point? Hell, I think my doctor had one in his office at one time. My church had one, too.

Kidding, of course, but the damn things were everywhere at one point.

They should rent the remaining locations to Dollar General.

The smell of those places is pretty unique/unforgettable. Almost makes me nauseous thinking about it

Subways have gone way down hill over the last 25 years. Used to be half decent sandwich. Not anymore

I remember the smell. I used to go there a lot since I knew some people that worked there during college. Even their cars would have the smell.

I haven’t eaten there since I got food poisoning. Their quality has fallen off a cliff anyway so I’m not missing out

Id argue its never been half decent. It just took multiple competitors to emerge that actually make half decent sandwiches for people to realize how awful subway always has been

There’s a lot more competition now with Jimmy John’s, Jersey Mikes and firehouse subs

It costs 20 bucks for a foot long meal now. There are killer coupons in the mail though
