So glad my trampoline didn’t look like this when I was young. I’m over in the ritzy part of town today and every backyard has one of these monstrosities - pretty tacky.

I don’t. But I do know that when I was a kid we didn’t have these dumb looking things littering up our neighborhood.

Ours was hidden by a fence and didn’t have side nets that stick up 15 feet behind the fence.

I’m guessing insurance has something to do with it.
BTW, when’s the last time you saw a slide in a backyard pool?

We did a lot of jumping in the 80s. We survived.

When I was a kid one of my neighbors had a pit in their yard with a trampoline in it. The trampoline was set up to be at ground level. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.

We always heard stories about the kid who broke his neck, I guess our parents expected us to use the trampoline they bought us responsibly.

What are people supposed to do with their yards? So far I see you can't park in the driveway, put a boat anywhere in the yard, or a trampoline without being trashy.

Women have taken over the world.
