I live that first night when the air is crisp. Usually one of the first few friday night ball games.

The smell.

The first morning in early October when you get highs in the 70's and you can just smell it. Nothing else like it.

Yeah. Living in Metairie, near the lake, when the first cold front swings the wind around to a northerly direction and get your first Fall whiff of Bogalusa.
