Nothing, just enjoy that. This scene likely happens most at a cold, early morning, soccer game.

We don't have Fall in Louisiana. We have cold fronts, then the rain starts up around Thanksgiving. You get maybe three good weekends.

When the pets start putting on their furry undercoats.
When sunsets get more colors
When the poison ivy leaves start their fall colors
When I can make chilli that's spicy AND hot
When the summer crop of fawns can keep up with their mothers as they romp across our meadow.
When the wild turkeys wander into the yard looking for bigger bug to eat.

I like the look of dead/dormant grass than green/growing.

We have a fairly brief fall. It can be hot here on Halloween.
It's actually quite nice in the winter though. December through February we'll have highs in the low 60s and lows in the 40s most years.

Cool enough to sit out on the porch and have a drink at the end of the day without being assaulted by humidititties or mosquitos.
ETA: Fixing soups and stews. All of the time.

Football
Cool enough to spend hours outside making barbecue
Cool enough to sit on the porch and watch deer use my shrubbery for a salad bar.

The smell of a campfire on a 60 degree day.

Bought some 3 weeks ago, since by the time it drops to below 90 degrees - actual fall - Celebration/Winter Ale will be out.
We need to do something about the beer calendar, which is apparently dictated by people in Northern Maine.

I hated the burnt smell from my old apartment heater the first time running it. It also set off the fire alarms.
Leaves blowing around after a cold front on a Friday afternoon before a weekend of nonstop football. The best time of year.
