1. Married my ex-wife.
2. Listened to Jack tell me to climb to the top of that tree and go off that rope swing. Spent three days in the hospital contemplating that Jack Daniels was not my friend.

I've been over 200 mph in a vehicle. Supercharged methanol injected dodge viper.
I tackled a pit bull attacking a lab, while I was only wearing swim trunks.
Set my yard on fire with fireworks, almost the whole neighborhood
Plenty of others I was real close to a very bad ending.

I climbed the "new" Mississippi Bridge to the middle. Scaled a couple of pipes on one of the supports to a beam that lead us to an enclosed ladder. The ladder lead to a catwalk under the bridge. We walked the catwalk to the middle support where there's an area to hangout and catch a buzz. Amazing watching the bridge flex and move at it's connection
point. HUGE bolts and nuts...incredible. Did this twice. There were other people up there the first time at the mid point. There's graffiti up there so it's been done many times. In the pics below you can see the ladder, catwalk and observation area. First pic is on River Road I believe. You can see the pipes on the bottom that can be scaled. Then walk across a beam about two feet wide and 20 feet long to the ladder. Yep, I was crazy ??

We rented the USS Kidd and threw the biggest X party ever on it. I don't think they ever rented it out for that type of use again. I don't think they knew it was going to be a punk rock party. We had two bands and hundreds of friends attend. People were climbing all over that ship. Up to the flags and shite. Crazy night!

Some years back we bought a travel trailer. First trip out took it up to Petit Jean. Backed into camp site, put down the jack stand and started raising it off my hitch. Just as it was clearing hitch, I remembered that I hadn’t chocked the wheels yet. Too late. Came off hitch and trailer immediately started rolling back. Hitch folded like a wet noodle and front of trailer hit the ground. Whole trailer slid back 10 feet off the pad site. Thank God there was no tree directly behind us. I felt like a complete idiot.
