Stupid cat - UPDATE w/pic

Recently made a transatlantic move back to the States after years out of the country. Of course our kids pulled my heart strings so we couldn’t leave the cat behind. Ugh. Paid for all the necessary shots, custom made cage the airline required, stowing fee, international customs fee...etc. It cost more than a human to fly.
Landed. Move into new place. 4 days later it runs outside and never returns.
Kids blame me. FFS
UPDATE: we adopted a one-eyed kitten from Tijuana. No lie. FML

If only there was some way to affix a small tag with contact information, you know, perhaps around the animal's neck. Then, someone could read the tag information and reunite the pet with it's owners.

Tried that twice. Stupid cat was actually smart and somehow got them off. Wasn’t going to pay the money again. Got the chip implanted but it doesn’t work unless back in the original country.

If it's still alive it may have gone out and someone started feeding it. I had a cat when I was young that was gone for months then just suddenly showed up one day.
