Students call Madeline Albright a war criminal. Demand new commencement speaker

This is odd considering Albright said that about not supporting other women and this is an all-women college.

She's a Czech national. Anybody have a problem, in hindsight, for a top level U.S. cabinet official, particularly one like SECSTATE holding dual nationality with, at the time, very recent Cold War enemy nation?

While I certainly don't agree with Ms Albright on many things, colleges and universities have allowed people without the capacity to make good decisions take over the decision making.

I don't want to open that can of worms. Let's just say there are dozens of past/present/future U.S. elected and highly appointed officials with that particular dual-citizenship.
But Israel is at least, on paper, an ally, right? Now, Albright was born in pre-Soviet bloc Czechoslovakia (Jewish ancestry, but they converted and didn't talk much about it - for obvious reasons in the 30s and 40s), so I'm more likely to give her a pass, with formative years in the UK and the U.S. She was from a diplomatic background as well. But, it always gave me a little pause. Not that I held it against her, just thought that particular risk wasn't worth it - with all the aftershock of the Warsaw Pact collapse, all the dealings with the dissolution of the USSR and their puppet governments in Eastern Europe.
It's curious because I remember being one of the few concerned about it at the time.
