Good for you Owlie. Mind over matter. One small improvement a day adds up exponentially over a year’s time.

Keep digging man, recovery is possible. I had a stroke in 2020 and at first the entire right side of my body was dead and it took me a couple months afterwards before I could walk without a walker. Now I'm back to working my normal full time job and am probably around 90% physically of where I was before the stroke, maybe a little less.
It takes time but your body will find new pathways from the brain for it to function. Doing as much physical activity as you can will go a long way. Good luck

You should take advantage of your condition and have pretty bird
come bathe you.

Does your Golf swing resemble Charles Barkley's old form?
Way to go dude, keep working.

Are you sure you want to fight me?

I'd like you to be more of an advocate here for critical illness policies. They're dirt cheap per month and assist in making GFMs unneeded. 50% of men will suffer a stroke, heart attack, cancer, paralysis or other major organ issues.

As someone who endured left weakness(paralysis) from hypoxia, I hope you keep working And improving.. as you can attest to, the hardest part most of the time is simply fighting to start the process to relearn movement and control.. It’s amazing that nearly 2.5 years from my event, I’m still getting things back..
