What I got was: It's okay if your kid is a stripper, because she might fly off the handle over a greeting card and go on a hysterical rant because deep down she's very very ashamed that she shows her tits and grinds for money and there's nothing wrong with that.

Went to see my favorite stripper, Roxie, dance the other night. But she had taken the night off to study for a botany test.
Krystal? She was off showing a house to a potential buyer as part of her realtor gig.
Trish? Graduated with that nursing degree she talked about and moved to Florida for her new job.

Why is it that every single stripper in every single strip club is stripping to pay their way through college?
I have met and hung out with a lot of strippers outside of their workplace. Not a single one of them was in or had ever applied to college. They sure do like drugs and hot tubs though.

I didn't get much past the "we could not afford college" statement. In the United States this is such bull shite. It's a total cop out of personal responsibility. Financial aid is almost too readily available. Depending on the individual it might not be economically worth it to go to a traditional 4 year university. A trade might be a better idea. But she had options. She was just too stupid, lazy, and/or irresponsible to take advantage of them.

I'm that guy that when they say that to me, I start asking questions. School,? Major? How much further? What are you going to do w/ that liberal arts degree? They generally get stumped at the 3rd question or get pissed and leave. If they don't want me to ask questions stop charging $10+ for a drink and I'll get drunk within the first 30 minutes.
