Torrance is a good area. Lawndale and Hawthorne could be OK depending on how close you are to Redondo but the rest of it I would never consider

What a terrible take this is.

Glad you posted that. I’m following now. Skid row in Los Angeles is a truly unbelievable sight, a post apocalyptic urban wasteland. Anyone would be completely shocked to see a place like that in the U.S.

There's a video on the site listed in the OP that shows Palisades Park in Santa Monica in 2010 and 2019. It's night and day.

Fake news. I've walked through that park plenty of times and it looked exactly like the '10 video.

What would be your solution to fixing the problem of 1,000s of mentally ill homeless people on the streets?

47% of America’s homeless are in California. Bet that state wishes their weather was crappier. I have a friend whose mentally ill brother migrated there just for that reason. He lives on the streets in San Diego.

Well Dems changed the laws and released 8k to the streets so i wouldnt have started with that. Then all the other states bussing them in doesnt help

Also they have transportation with the lime bikes and scooters that they take on the trolley to TJ to sell for scrap metal

Father joe is building a massive housing facility costing 200mil that looks like this

So who the frick knows how to stop this chaos

Except that it has exploded in the last five years. This isn't a weather issue. If you had ever been to Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, or Austin, you would know that weather is completely irrelevant. It is solely a public policy issue.

Most days I work in or near downtown LA.

The homeless problem isn’t hyperbole..... it’s REALLY bad.

Incarceration/institutionalizing all of them.

If you’re worried about the carbon footprint of such a plan, we can exterminate them. Whatever you feel is eco friendly enough.

You can trace the problems to a series of laws and policies passed starting in 2011. It is staggering.
