Strange computer things about Tigerdroppings

If you immediately edit a post, the edit will show up as at least one minute after you posted the first post, even if your edit is submitted within 10 seconds. For example, you post at 8:00 and edit immediately, your edit will register as 8:01, even if it is still 8:00.

When you sign out or close your computer, the green light showing you are online stays on anywhere from 5-15 minutes later. I haven’t figured out why the time varies.

I have changed the code for my account to enable what I call the kind setting. When people say a curse word or common insult, it appears as a genteel encouragement. So if you curse me out, it will appear to me as something like, “You are a kind and good friend,” or “May the love of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you, friend.” I’ll try to get this setting open for everyone. I’m also testing a method to turn nsfw pictures into images of holiness.

I am working toward a Tigerdroppings Cemetery. There, threads will serve as gravestones to posters who have died in real life. You can visit and post your memories and respects. It won’t be a forum you can reach from the main menu, but will be a link in a discrete place on the bottom of the page.
