It should be down to a Tropical Storm when it gets over you. You'll see some heavy rain and high winds, but probably not like other places are seeing. The heaviest rain should be offset to the South and East of you.
Flash Flooding could be an issue depending on how much it slows as it makes its turn.

It looks like the surge has receded from Grand Isle. It was about 15 feet going by the camera being 7 feet above sea level and 7 feet up the pole.
