This guy is f'ing stupid being there. He better hope those camps hold up and he's able to stay high. That water is not only coming up fast, but moving like a raging river.

Imagine being one of the batshit crazy 28 people who decided to stay in Grand Isle.

Did they move the forecast line east from the 4 am update?

It’s not turning either direction
It’s wobbling back and forth

Yep, a significant portion of her city, including a very vulnerable population, will listen to her. And it wasn't "too late" like she said it was.
And also lmao at comparing fricking wearing covid masks to evacuating for a hurricane
Just a criminally moronic and humiliatingly stupid take
Maybe we could reserve the political talk for another board, thread, or time

Can still be seen from I-10 east of Marianna, around the Apalachicola River. And that is 100 miles inland.
Yep. Driving south from I-10 to the coast in that area on back roads is still bone chilling. At the time I worked for Talquin Electric Coop whose service area is from Tallahassee to the Apalachicola, and even though we skirted the worst damage, they were still recovering when I retired 8 months later.

Oh yea. The storm is coming in fast on the Grand Isle cam.
Is that the John Humpress cam? or a different one?

Slight move west. Houma is really going to get it.

Just heard my brother and dad left Houma is the last window to leave.
All that’s left is things that can be replaced. I can relax now.

Yeah I turned off my wifi and just went with my phone data like someone else suggested and it works. Wierd
And yeah, that looks pretty rough.
