What kind of tornado threat are we expecting in BR?
So with tropical tornados, they're typically going to be in that eastern side. So watch for that if you're east of the center.
Additionally, where BR is probably going to be too far inland for the mesovorticies, a strengthening major hurricane will likely have these tornado like features dancing around the eyewall. I'm fairly certain this was the nightmare fuel in Lake Charles during Laura.
This would be a threat in BR, if Ida wasn't going to slam on the breaks so hard. It'll be losing too much steam but tropical tornadoes will still be a threat in the decaying eyewall.

I can’t see BR getting 110 sustained winds. Maybe gusts but not sustained

The BR area could basically turn into Oklahoma with the amount of shite headed that way

Exciting that Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans and/or other areas of Louisiana are going to experience massive damage and potential loss of life? Sounds like a blast *rolls eyes*
Getting shot at is exciting also. It doesn’t mean you’re glad it’s happening.

On the other hand it would be awesome (in the literal sense of the word) to experience that level of mother nature. Just have to make sure you live.
Most will be sleeping during the brunt I would imagine

I know ya'll build robustly but actual sustained 110 in any reasonably sized city seems like it'd be a historic disaster

Hope you are right.
The NWS raised some eyebrows when they tweeted a prediction of 110 mph sustained winds in Baton Rouge, the river parishes, the north shore, and New Orleans.

Half that in an developed urban area would be serious.
