I don't know that yet. Part of knowing some things is being able to spot what you don't know. It's going to be running NW and a wobble makes the difference. I've seen enough east wobbles vs west ones to suspect that might be what happens, but without some physical reasoning as to why I'm not going to make a prediction like that.

Over in fairhope now. Took the SUV and panicked what to do with my car. Tried to leave it in my building but it was locked and ended up leaving It in the rouses parking lot by UNO (obviously I crumble under pressure….) Not liking my chances of it being there when I get back, either stolen or towed lol.

Good luck to everyone who decided to stay.

I'm going to say the same thing that I said for Laura here:

If you're anywhere near where the eyewall is currently forecast to make landfall, you should prepare as if your arse is about to get hit by a Major Hurricane.

The first @53rdWRS mission since #Ida emerged into the Gulf of Mexico suggests that there was some disruption of its inner core structure over #Cuba. Pressure is up a bit & the 700-hPa center fixes appear a bit south of the mid-level center seen on satellite imagery. LINK

I think now that it's in the gulf, it will just start wobbling. Next update will be moving west, following update will be east, etc etc.

It’ll be somewhere between that and the pending apocalypse that some on here are predicting

The track shows it passing over Hobart and I am all the way in Duckroost.

No way I feel the effects the same.
