We are. Found a condo in Destin that has a cancellation. The price is outrageous with the pet fee but it is what it is.

Here is what Cantrell said:
quote:

@jwilliamsNOLA
Cantrell: We don't have the time to implement contraflow. Therefore the city cannot pivot to a mandatory evacuation, because we don't have the time. #NOLA

So no mandatory evacuation for New Orleans.

18z but locked in on BR but a few getting sucked into the siren song coming from Vermilion Bay.

Something makes me think this is gonna split Vermilion Bay in half like Stephanie Abrams's night out in the French Quarter after reporting all day.

Not sure why you laughing, but 60-70 MPH winds will knock out power to the bulk of the city for a week.

No, You are mistaken.

Does Sid in the Lakeshore really mean in Sid in the French Quarter or Sid by Children’s hospital? Because those are about the only two neighborhoods in New Orleans that won’t lose power in 60-70 winds.

So we should expect it to be wet and sloppy?

I understand. It’s a weaker storm and not a direct hit. Was just having fun.

Just heard that Cantrell said that there isn’t enough time to do contraflow. Any thoughts on that?

She's a retard. They didn't call for a mandatory evacuation of New Orleans until Sunday... the day before Katrina. The first and only mandatory evacuation of New Orleans in its history.
