Traffic is so bad, it's even backed up on the loop.

I live in North Lafourche, almost to Assumption Parish line. I have the bayou behind us and a cane field in front of us. No chance of flooding but obviously wind will be an issue although no trees at all around us. Have a whole house generator. Would you stay or go?

There's a loop?

EDIT: Not sarcasm, really don't know what loop in BTR you're referring to.

I’m stuck in NY on a plane because of a storm here. Should be back in NO in 3-4 hours. How shitty is traffic from Nola to BR?

Yes - I made the mistake of going to the grocery at 3. People are acting crazy.

How long can you go without resupplies? Good chance you will be stuck at your place for several days without access to fuel, water, food.

Not sure if already mentioned, but it looks like an evacuation area is being staged near the Lafayette airport. Dozens of busses, tents, etc set up.

Just a joke about the mythical BR loop that's been talked about for 20+ years.
