Is the lack of fuel the lack of drivers for tankers; the lack of production; the lack of planning; something else?

There are MANY stations in Abbeville and Lafayette out as well.

not sure. I don't know if they are only counting stations that have power or if they are including all stations in their numbers.

Hello, all. I've been following this thread ever since I came across a recommendation to it a couple of days prior to Ida's landfall near GI. There is such a wealth of information here! I spent 6 months in NOLA as a travel nurse from 2017-2018 and fell in love with the people and culture of SELA.

Apparently the 911 system in NYC is down now

Good thing they all have AR15s to protect themselves. Oh wait.

Been out of the thread for a few days so this may have been discussed…any idea what the maximum sustained winds in Hammond were?

I’m curious if they could set up some kind of gas distribution stations off the main roads in places. Big parking lots around the city like the LSU softball lot for example. Anything to eliminate these lines backing into the roadways around cities.

Checking in safe in Lutcher. Internet via phone just kicked in. Tons of shingles gone but no leaks (I think we're the only house in the neighborhood not to loose at least some tar paper, and have leaks). Still no power, but we're all safe. Have to work to keep ahead with gas for the generator, but luckily I stocked some up before the storm and have been able to supplement through a lot of patience.
