Damn.
For those familiar with AL meteorologists and the April 27, 2011 ABC 33/40 coverage, you know who Jason Simpson is. He's been the Chief Met at WHNT 19 in Huntsville since 2012. I just read that he is leaving on-air meteorology and going into the private sector. I hate that, he's damn good at what he does and is just as good as James Spann with knowing every pothole in his part of the state.
He also has a really good story with his youngest kid who has had alot of health issues since he was born.
