I got caught in a downpour earlier from those storms as they were getting going.

Something came through here about 230 or so and lightning knocked out our electricity. Back on now but it was a shitload of rain too.

Damn, are we sure this isn't AL or MS? This isn't the first tornado, it is a different one.

Glad that was barely getting started when it rolled through the ‘Ham. But looking forward to lows in the low 60’s the rest of the week!

Damn, modern radar is amazing. Watch it tighten back up near Buckingham, put down a tornado, show a debris ball, cycle down, and disperse the debris:

The other tornado could come through on the Southeast side of Philly.

Greys, greens, and blues. It has to be in the same spot as the velocity couplet, though.
If you're interested and can watch, TWC is covering it now.

Some of those places in the Northeast are getting more rain out of Ida than alot of Louisiana did. 3-5" per hour with over 12" so far in places, and there is plenty more to come.
It's basically jetting the gulf stream moisture over a front and wringing it out. The rain I'm not surprised by. The amount and intensity of the tornadoes certainly is surprising.

I heard one death from the flooding earlier today.
