actually, outside of the ridiculous error cones, it's pretty reasonable that this is a storm by tomorrow morning.

If they paid attention to real weather outlets they would know not to freak out about their "weekend plans" cause 1) its far away and 2) it doesn't even exist yet so noone has a clue wh3re itd going.

I would say that this storm turning into a category 5 hurricane and going up the Mississippi would be along the lines of the probability of getting stuck by an AIDS needle under the handle at a gas pump.
I'm sure someone will post that model on Facebook though.

Haha you hate that damn yellow cone! Considering it takes up what would be a third of the continental US, I would have to agree with you on it as well haha (the cone).

I'm talking the whole worst case scenario that he laid out there. Cat 5 up the mouth of the Mississippi River.
You know the worst case scenario that's been pitched for hurricane season every year?

shear dies down quickly early Friday morning and we should start to see this storm really come together once it does.

Actually I do hurricane, bro.
I'm sitting on a Tarmac and took it out on the fine fellows of TD, and not the asses of NOLA.com

I've thoroughly enjoyed this thread. I always considered myself knowledgeable, having lived on the Gulf coast most of my life, but I've learned a lot in this thread. It's fascinating stuff.

Actually that model that he posted depicting a cat 5 hurricane has a simulated IR view that is even scarier. I'm sure someone will post it.
