Power just went out in my street in downtown thib. This almost seems planned though. Only a street or two. We never lose power and it’s barely a breeze outside.

1 AM advisory downgraded to 50 mph winds.
Looking at the current cone we could have 3/4 different landfalls tomorrow
1. Cross over Plaquemines Parish near Buras, then back into water (Barataria Bay)
2. Cross over Lafourche Parish near Golden Meadow, then Terrebonne Bay
3. Scrape southern Terrebonne Parish, then re-enter Gulf
4. Final landfall near Galveston
Looking at the current cone we could have 3/4 different landfalls tomorrow

Bertha looks like warmed up dogshit. Shear is really flexing now and pushing the deep convection farther from the completely exposed center. NHC sticking with 50 mph at 4 am but again admits there’s no way it’s that strong.

Th’ Boat is why I’m in BSL awaiting high tide and available to adjust lines on. Tide is running 1 ft above norm at my dock.
