At the end of May I hauled a load to eastern Washington from Iowa - interstate 80 at Elk Mountain WY was completely covered in snow. It's why I always keep a couple pairs of jeans and a hoodie in the truck through the summer just in case. Wyoming really has some of the strangest weather patterns in the world.

Joy, is going to Little America in east or west Wyoming, just to see all the tourists stranded wearing shorts and tee shirts with four feet of snow on the ground.

We are in glacier NP now. Temperatures are great. However the precipitation was mostly rain. The area of the park we were staying (Manny glacier) had to be evacuated due to extreme flooding. Most of the park is now closed. We had to evacuate to whitefish. Temperatures are still awesome but what a shitshow for vacation plans.

Nobody is going to open a ski lift for a random July snow. There’s a lot more to it and people required than just someone operating the lift
I know they won’t, but they could. It would be an awesome bucket list item to brag about.

Worst stretch of interstate in the country and it isn't really close. Hurricane force winds at any time are regular there. Also black ice heaven most of the year.
