Actually, a Gulf scenario is still very much on the table, if the loop occurs.

ETA: 12z GFS has a weakened system heading into Gulf at 138hrs

UF has moved the deadline to determine if the game will be moved to 5:00 p.m. now

Storm will be moving on, but you know theres the whole power outage, trees down, debris problem.

Worried about the football game because that's gonna be around 100k people that will most likely be in that area if they think it's safe because the game is still scheduled to proceed as normal....... priorities

The have to be trolling. They must understand that the weather at game time has zero to do with if it is smart to have a game there or not.

yep but its a day game so they wont need lights and they can bring in generators for the PA system

Ha a Cat3 possibly 4 storm passing within 50 miles or right on top of the venue and you think there will actually be a game played there on Saturday.

I suspect some of you have not been through many hurricanes.

Seems that's what they call the Intercoastal Waterway running along the east coast of Florida, before the barrier island beach areas.
