m in Jax and the new track is very reassuring. We will hold out at home and just have a larger hurricane party.

We were close to bugging out at 2pm based on the Euro

Latest run of the HRRR has westward jog, now will be a pretty good test to tell if the upgraded HRRR is worth anything when it comes to near term motion of tropical systems.

Here in Orlando, we're celebrating it moving off shore. We could catch just TS force winds now.

I will swallow my disappointment for leaving if it means it misses us to the east. Not much you can do when a evacuation order is given, but I guess I could have stayed close by.

I would love to say I over reacted.

I'm sorry but your description is .

People call UF fans rednecks only because they haven't met FSU fans.

Come on back and have a beer with us.

What I would take from that is that this thing can slightly change paths at any moment.

Not in a place with a computer. What is the intensity looking like when/if it completes the loop and hits south Florida again? Still nothing to worry about?

Is that dry air working its way into the core? If so, it could be a good thing for coast going forward.

ETA: The southwesterly shear the NHC discussed looks like it may be working on the system now. Everything to the west of the storm keeps getting blown off.

I'm under the impression it's all something to worry about.

Nothing, except we all have to sleep in the same room.

Also, most hunting camps have no women

Well you and everyone you know are dead if it moves 20 miles West. Shepherd Smith told me so.

For everyone's sake, I would be thrilled if this happens, but I don't think anyone it out of the woods yet. Gonna be real close.

Accurate. FSU fans are the kids who couldn't get into UF.

Very true. We aren't taking the boat out. Just inviting more neighbors over. Still on alert of course.

Our beach folks are still going to suffer from flooding from the surge. I'll be down there to help them when safe.
