Hey boys, pray for me.
It looked good early on, my family is safe, but it's too late to join them.
Praying for you, and everyone else who has been and will be impacted by Matthew.
Try to keep in touch for as long as you can.

NBC News just did a story about this POS hotel owner who runs a Days Inn who tripled his rates forcing this family to leave because they couldn't afford the upped rates.
When confronted by the reporter, the hotel owner said corporate sets the rates, not him...that is the biggest load of bullshite I've ever heard, especially considering it is a franchised location.
Of course Days Inn put out a statement saying that they had nothing to do with the rates, and the Attorney General was on scene taking care of it.
I hate price gougers.

Palm City, FL.
Still have power, for now.
May not for long, at the brunt of the storm.
If it continues on this path, it will hit me dead on.

167 mph...Nothing can survive that type of wind gust.
I'm surprised the anemometer survived to measure that. Those are the kind of winds that broke the one at the NHC during Andrew.

IDK ... thought he was leaving but it was only like a few miles away if he was concerned about water. I'm about to freak out for these people.
WHERE'S THE GTMO GUY??? At least what was his screen name?

It won't be long. That first 60 mph gust will do the trick.
Stay safe man.

Because this thing didn't take the track it was expected to. Went much further west, than north, considering the NNW track it took from 4-6 EST.
It happens. My family is safe and that's what matters. For now, just praying it doesn't come up north on me... then I'm fricked.

How far are you off of water?

His argument is that hiking the prices prevents hoarding. People will buy only what they need if the price is high. That leaves more for others to purchase as well.
