in preparation for higher point beers
It weird to go into stores and see "no beer until Oct 1st", it's amazing that they drank 3.2 beer in the first place.

I'm guessing "high point" is another way of saying a high alcohol content? I'm not an alcoholic so I'm not familiar with the lingo.

2.5 more points and it will almost be real beer.

and in Oklahoma... stores that can sell >3.2% ABV drinks can't sell it below room temperature
so you can't get straight home and crack open a cold 1... gotta put it in the fridge for a few hours 1st
(source for that is Wiki)

Oklahoma is a pretty shitty state. Not quite Mississippi-grade shitty, but close.

Well I mean........you don’t technically HAVE to wait for it to get cold
Trust me

Same as in Indiana - can only buy cold beer at liquor stores. All grocery stores and gas stations sell warm beer.
And Pennsylvania is just friggin dumb all around. Can only buy a certain amount of ounces per transactions at retail stores.

Haven't been there in 4 years or so, but I traveled there for close to 15 years. I hated going to someplace like the local Pizza Hut to buy a cold 6 pack back in the day. And going to the beer distributor if we needed more than 12 beers.

The Native Americans would disagree

Guess I won’t have to stop in Missouri next time I visit the in-laws.

I had no idea 3.2 was a thing outside of Mormantah.

Also, don’t you have to go to a specific state owned or managed business to purchase the good stuff like liquor or wine in Pennsylvania?

Racist in Oklahoma kept the firewater watered down to control the native population.
