This happened to me. I ended up parking it in a different parking lot than normal and forgot about it. Went looking for my car in my usual spot and then called the cops when it wasn't there. When I finally realized I was a dumbass I played it off like a friend pranked me, but I'm pretty sure they didn't buy it.

shite gets stolen from employee offices rather frequently. Had a friend have their cell phone swiped from their desk when they walked a few office down the hall to get something from a co-worker.

LSUPD told them it happens more than you think, door open in plain view and the hallways are typically occupied with random people (visitors, students, etc.) so someone doesn't really look out of place.

People wonder in to college campus buildings and take shite all the time.

That might be the same car I just saw flying down Perkins with 3 cops cars following

Worked at a HS several years back. Student had her car broken into in November then stolen in March. The thief stole the valet key (In Nov) and came back to steal the car

it was later found in Nola completely trashed
