Is there a more useful thing when stuck in bed sick than the ipad?
I've been sick last two days and this thing has turned into a workhorse.

I work in Construction and it's how I update schedules and keep track of my work. Pretty much my lifeline.

I laughed when I first saw the iPad. Total waste of money for the sheep I said.

I bought an iPad2 in 2011 and the thing still sees daily use in my house.
Work bought me the 12.9" iPad Pro with backlit smartconnect keyboard. I'm in love...Wish it would run OSX instead of iOS10 but it is still a very good device.

Agreed and now with Office365, the need for a full blown OS isn't as great for me as it once was. Still think it'd be pretty cool though.

Same industry and tool. I fricking hate them. I love the concept, but would rather have a laptop. Ipads take way too long to load blueprints. Especially highly detailed structural or civil drawings. Editing reports also sucks. I at least have a keyboard, but would like to also have a mouse.

With tasker and we codes, everything is automated. I hope in my vehicle, it pairs with my phone, starts pandora, asks to check my schedule on my phone and routes via Waze. Gives me a weather read out. And then does a scan via obd2 port and reads out a few engine parameters I like to check.
Astounding really. Considering I had it in vehicles from the 60s through 90s.
Obviously no engine read outs before 95.5

Yes, when I've been puking all night I'm going to read War and Peace. But I might play Pandora in the meantime or watch videos or check out TD when I'm recovering.
