I watch it at night, it comes on now instead of "who wants to be a millionaire". I watched a top 5 FF moments video on youtube and I have to think the show has always been for pure entertainment. Think about the game. They ask people a question, which was asked to 100 people at a mall and the contestants have to guess the answers. There is absolutely no skill whatsoever involved. Like anything else on TV, its about 1 thing. Ratings. I doubt if there was a serious game of Family Feud.. not as many people would watch it.

Humor is different for everyone so I can understand not liking him, but I like his humor and think he is hilarious.

Of course they expect to get some crazy answers from time to time, but it was just a ancillary part of the show.

It seems like they now try to find the dumbest people they can and ask ridiculous questions knowing they will give a shock answer. That's not how the show used to be, or at least how i remembered it.
Maybe it's been like this all along, and i'm just getting older and realizing it.

Regardless, more people are watching it, so it isn't changing anytime soon. I just think it's tv for idiots, more so than normal.
Would Wheel of Fortune be better if every puzzle was more shocking, with sexual words being involved or possible inappropriate looking puzzles.

Well the only game show I will make an attempt to watch is Jeopardy. If "Who wants to be a millionaire" is/was on and I wasn't doing anything else I would watch it, but when I watch Family Feud, I don't watch it for the same reason I watch Jeopardy.

Harvey is a comedian, so of course they are going to try to create an environment for him to do what he does.

Didn't they try to do the comedian thing on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"? A show like that, it doesn't work, but as for as "tv for idiots" unfortunately that seems to be more of the norm. I honestly think reality TV has made us (as a country) more stupid.
