I have a feeling this was directed at someone else because I am behind the officers and still don't understand how this even made news for them doing their job.

Both his parents are in law enforcement. His dad is/was high up with the BRPD and I think even ran for Police Chief years ago. The families ties to the BRPD and community is why Hillar Moore recused himself from the case because of a conflict of interest.

Holy shite I just read this on Gravy's FB and the comments on it are fricking disturbing. One black guy called a white guy a "white devil" or "demon" at least 10 times. Every single person supporting Alton on that page thinks that the family would know if Alton had been threatened immediately before his death, despite the DOJ not saying a word about it with their incredibly thorough investigation. And when one guy brought that up, all the people in the comments just say they trust the family
It's actually insane how every single black person on Gravy's FB has this incredibly twisted view of things. Then most of them are throwing out all kinds of racist things towards the couple white people on the page. And many of them are threatening violence and race wars. Yet they say white people are racist
Edit: well Gravy actually just said close to the same thing as she did. Same basic message, presented slightly more effectively. I highly doubt she would be included in a black community meeting with the DOJ though
