He has dependents but they aren't going with him. Not sure if that will make a difference or not.
He's very good in communications so it wouldn't surprise me if his job is something to do with that.

My understanding is that you have to have a microchip implanted with your vaxx information. But you can also do apple pay and other cool shite with it. Pay at the pump without taking a card out your wallet? Sign me up!
Visit your local tattoo shop and they’ll be familiar. They do lots of implants.
Pro tip: have them implant the chip into your dick. You always have a reason to whip it out and they can’t arrest you for it because, technically, they’re asking to see your dick.

If he goes there without his spouse or family then he will be given un-accompanied orders and will most likely wind up living in the dorms until around the time that he promotes to Senior Airmen. The dorms do fill up there so he may be released to go live off base in his own place before that.
Again, if he or you guys have any questions about Germany or AF stuff in general, don’t hesitate to reach out. I can give you my DOD email so he can contact me.

tbh, Germany doesn't interest me much
Why? Germany is awesome. I've been twice and will be back again.

Well, my neighbors in PA were from Germany and I ate with them once in while. Don't get me wrong - I like it - but it's not my favorite. Not a fan of the sausages.
I mean, you realize there is more to their cuisine than just sausages right?

He's not married but has twin daughters with the girl he's currently dating. They will be remaining in TX. I'll definitely tell him to reach out to you. Thanks so much for your help.

Yes - just saying those were the one thing I didn't generally care for

Well, as a self-described foodie, you'll get far superior food in Germany. Switzerland may have marginally better scenery, but southern Germany and Switzerland are very very similar in that regard. They are plenty close to do both, but you are doing yourself a complete disservice writing Germany off.

I used to live a couple hours from there in Strasbourg. Didn’t go to Germany much, but right across the border in Kehl was a nice place to visit on the weekends for a change from French food and culture.
The Alsace Lorraine area is beautiful, the Vosges Mountains have lots of hiking, outdoor activities and people are genuinely nice.
Is there anything in particular you want to do?

Also, Belgium
Very underrated. I'd teleport to Bruges right now if I could.

Absolutely. And just across the border in the Netherlands is one of Europe’s hidden gems…Maastricht.

A buddy from NE Louisiana worked as a golf pro in Austria very near that base. He knew a lot of pilots because they used to play on his course. He said they would mess with him when they flew over the course.
My buddy married a German lady and owns golf courses in North Carolina now.
If you haven't seen it, find a copy of Buffalo Soldiers (2001). IMDb
