Would it be crazy to think Golden State Warriors' star Stephen Curry could mean to Under Armour what Michael Jordan meant to Nike all those decades ago? UA's basketball shoe sales are through the roof, thanks to Curry's signature shoe and meteoric rise in fame across the world. You can credit that to his basketball success and dominance. The streak in which Curry is affecting the sales of UA could mean the difference in being valued at $14.1 billion and $28.2 billion in the future.

Not surprising when you consider these guys' sneakers cost $150 a pair.

People will buy and wear anything....

There's some dads at my kid's playground that wear nothing but UA stuff, from the shoes up... Looks like a walking billboard...

I imagine their investment in Jordan Spieth will pay off handsomely in the future as well.

They absolutely lucked out with Curry and Spieth. Curry admitted he is slightly butthurt over his salary, but the Under Armour deal softens the blow a lot. I wonder how much stock he has.

Kind of basic, but I like the lows.

Not as much with Speith. Golf wear doesn't sell close to as much as basketball shoes and apparel. Sure it's a nice get but basketball players are what make or break athletic companies.

So you're not allowed to wear brand names unless you're an athlete?

For the record, I do not own UA shoes, socks, hats, pants, shorts.

Stick to your wal-mart no labels.

I have never bought any shoes or shirts or anything just because of an athlete except some chuck Taylor converse high tops in high school. It's amazing what they pay these athletes to wear their brand. It's even more amazing what people will spend on such things.

Not like you could afford shoes that cost more than 30 dollars anyway.

Sure I could. It's just the idea. You buy shite like that to show off. Your self esteem must be real low.
