Almost all food in Europe is better/healthier.
Until the nasty Germans pile a mountain of mayonnaise on their fries while smoking a pack of cigarettes….
Actually they might still be healthier than the shite they are feeding us.

The US already imports 600,000 tons per year of edible tallow.

It has more to do with our ubiquity of ultra processed foods and what percentage of our diets are comprised of these foods.
Italy and France are something like <20%
Germany is around 50%
America is 60% for adults and 70% for kids.
ETA: I was wrong about France.

I well remember the smell for Micelli's slaughterhouse and meat packing plant near the Port of Lake Charles when they rendered the fat into tallow. It's not in the least appetizing at all

I love steaks in Ghee, it's delicious.
I will never trust anything you say ever again. My sister-in-law cooks stuff in Ghee, swears by the stuff, uses it over butter in everything, she even puts it in coffee.
My sister-in-law is a terrible cook and all her food tastes like shite

I'm not a big diet guy. I believe exercise is far more important. However, you can't argue that something is wrong with us as a whole. I'm glad they are addressing diet, but at some point they will have to address our collective lack of exercise.

I just think they over complicate it

We've been lied to over the decades. Saturated fats like tallow, lard, butter are actually healthy fats. Much more so than toxic seed oils like soybean, corn, sunflower, safflower, cottonseed...
Why would anyone lie about such a thing? Is there any evidence this is remotely true? Obviously, a lot of folks believe it, but I would like further information on the subject,

They regulate the frick out of food and rightfully so.
I don’t doubt this at all due to most euro countries being the size of a small US state. Much easier to oversee everything.
Probably much less processed foods as well.

It's been a long time since I was a fat arse and used to go there after night shifts to get non breakfast foods. I should pop in sometime and grab another fresco burger and ranch seasoned fries. Both are absolutely delicious. A+ joint. I wonder if this decision came from a wise marketing department.

A lot of widow makers coming from the folks about to start sucking down saturated fats.

I’m going to preface this by saying I’d much prefer fries cooked in tallow, but saying Make America Healthy Again after praising a company who went from the healthy option to the unhealthier one pretty much sums up RFK.
It's funny how you are wrong on essentially everything you post.

In the 1960s, the sugar industry funded research that downplayed the risks of sugar and highlighted the hazards of fat. A 2016 article from NPR titled "50 Years Ago, Sugar Industry Quietly Paid Scientists To Point Blame At Fat" discusses this issue.

Additionally, a study published in JAMA Internal Medicine examined internal sugar industry documents, revealing efforts to influence scientific research and public perception regarding sugar's role in heart disease.

For a visual summary, a YouTube video titled "Sugar Industry Paid Scientists for Favourable Research" provides an overview of the sugar industry's influence on scientific research.

These sources provide insight into how the sugar industry influenced scientific research to shift the focus away from sugar's health risks.
The NYT reported back in the 60s the sugar industry paid Harvard researchers $50K to put out a study claiming fat was bad for you.
People, including doctors, still parrot this shite, that animal fat is bad for you, daily while it has been debunked for years.

Is it some highly processed deodorized tallow so it can be used a billion times and not smell rancid?
