Not sure exactly where to put this, but does anyone know what's going on with the renovations? Word I got a while back is because of COVID, they've been able to speed up the process.

So if this isn't the right board to ask, please move where this post should be.

In 1966 Louisiana voters approved a $35 million dollar domed stadium.

In 1975 it opened behind schedule at $167 million.

History in the Banana Republic most assuredly will repeat itself.

And it’s been remodeled for $250+ million 3 times in the last 15 years.

they could make the white dome 24k gold and it would still be the ugliest shithole stadium in America

Phase 2 underway. ADA improvements and north end zone suites. Will be done by start of 21 season.

With horrific design, incompetent project management and shoddy workmanship. Translation: rampant, systemic corruption.

The best part is how Saints fans treat it like hollowed ground like Soldier Field or Lambeau. Instead we’ve seen about 15 domed/outdated stadiums come and go since 1975 while we keep putting bandaids on this turd.

Give it a Confederate name and it would come down with the quickness.

Can you be more specific?

IMO the Domes renovations since 2005 have been pretty damn good.

What other indoor stadium the same age as the dome can you compare to?

They have been renovating that shite hole since the 80's.
You can't polish a turd. It's served its purpose and has been left in the stone age, like everything else in NOLA
