Yeah, and in the meantime let's destroy the coast.
No kidding. How many acres of wetlands has the USACE destroyed with their arrogant levees only policy?

AMEN to that! btw: if you really read the rules/regs that the epa proposes then govt' jurisdiction extends to the drip edge of your house

Alario will never let that happen.
If City Park turns out to be anything close to a Rees Jones masterpiece, he won't be able to block the tour event for very long. Rounds will go way down at TPC and the money to be made at an event in city park will be insane.

If only Jindal was still governor, the budget would be fine.
One thing for sure, less money WASTED on medicaid under Jindal and receptionist and staff were making less.

Agreed. TPC is in trouble if this course turns out to be legit. I still think that's a big "if." Not so much that the course will be a good design, but that it won't get fricked up some kind of way by the politicians.

Wetland mitigation credits?
20k is cheap for that. I've seen developments where hundreds of thousands are spent to pay for mitigation

Man, this thread. Lmao!
$20k is nothing for any mitigation, let alone after the fact. They see lucky the Corps didn't fine them.
Stream doesn't own every mitigation bank in SWLA. I know that for a fact.
Just because there isn't water on the surface, doesn't mean it isn't wet.
And wetlands are more than just nutria, mosquitoes, and disease. I guess that guy doesn't like ducks, redfish, trout, crawfish, or crabs, all of which rely on some kind of wetland.

That's what's wrong with the world today. They cut down trees and fill in natural water ways to build a GOLF COURSE.. What about the animals living there. Some people just don't appreciate nature.
What's wrong with thde world is that people chime in with their opinion before they gather the facts. You are a prime example.
