Unfortunately it's time to start working on another FAA anomaly report

But if there is no significant damage to the ground support equipment... the time before the next launch should be much shorter

The reason fish & wildlife was so interested in this launch was the new deluge system... if no big changes are needed to that then F&W won't have much to look at before the next

They definitely have a lot of work to do on the booster's guidance control for the return to pad flight

NSF had a shot of the separation and the booster immediately started to flip after separation... had no control at all even with the system trying hard to get it back right

FTS activation was definitely needed for booster

How far down range did the starship (second stage) go? May have terminated if even slightly off course due to Cuber.

Interesting. I thought that flip was expected.

That flip was proper in conjunction with all the animations of the flight path.

Before FTS Activation it seemed like there was a fire from the engine bay when I think it was trying to be re-lit. I also noticed on launch either some tiles came off as there was this weird fire streak that was not a Raptor.

They were nearly at SECO (second engine cut off)... it had to be a good ways down range

1 of the changes with the hot staging is that not all engines are turned off on booster at separation... some engines remain lit as booster immediately goes into the boost back burn

As the NSF guys now say... for Starship... MECO doesn't mean 'main engine cutoff'... it means 'most engines cutoff'

In regards to this... maybe not being a rocket scientist hurts... but I was looking at the puffs of gas used for guidance control and 1 was continually firing and making no headway turning the booster

Best way to know for sure is to watch Falcon 9 seperations. It's almost the same maneuver.

Stage 1 flips, does a entry burn, lands on pad or drone ship.

Edit: Also if you watch Space X stream they have a 2D Axis of how the booster was pointing. Looked pretty nominal until that fire happened.
