Starbucks is hugely popular despite what the baws on the OT say.

And they are everywhere. And consistent. I can order a chai latte at any location in the world and know it will taste the same.

The ones that always chime in "Starbucks sucks" in these threads are likely the same ones posting about "dem librals, the whole state sucks" in any thread about California.

They delivered 2 large McDonald's coffees and nothing else this morning for $2 delivery fee.

There is no way this is profitable

Was it THE big salad?

Including tip and delivery fee. That’s pretty standard. You pay extra for the convenience of it being brought to you.

Crazy how ubereats has picked up. Theres a mcdonalds a few blocks away. Whenever I'm to lazy I just head there to pick something up (food sux and wish it were something, but it is what it is). Anyway, theres alway at least one ubereats (grubhub sometimes) order when I'm there. Lots of apts in the area though so works.

I guess starbucks people dont care for how hot it is if it's delivered? My mom is a nazi about how hot her coffee is. If a waitress puts down a cup of coffee in front of her, and I dont see steam coming up I know my lunch is screwed as she'll send that shite back and/or complain about how bad it is. Worse was a fancy "organic" place that said they didnt have a microwave to put it in.

I'm not like that and I think Starbucks sucks. The coffee is OK (at best), but it's more expensive than a local shop

It's called paying $6 for a 30 cent cup of coffee. No skin off my nose though, if people want to pay it, I'm good with it.

I think the same thing every time I order, but it's not my fault they're only charging $2 delivery fee.

Gotta love it:

Liberals - "We need to stop global warming, stop greenhouse gas emissions, we emit way too much carbon dioxide"

Also Liberals - "Heck yeah I want to make somebody drive a 10 mile round trip in 3000 lb car hauling only a 16 oz cup of coffee!!"
